Hi, I'm Duygu, a California-based designer with over 10 years diverse design experience in 3D, product and UX design.
My most recent role at Shopify was dedicated to improving the merchant experience with a primary focus on themes and the theme editor settings.
Prior to that, I worked on multi-platform design systems for Amazon Books Shopping team. At Wayfair, I played a leadership role in reimagining the browsing experiences. My career journey includes prior positions at Bed Bath & Beyond and Penguin Random House.
My goal is to create impactful and scalable design solutions.
Started my career as a graphic designer in 2005 at an agency in Istanbul. Then, I transitioned to working as a 3D Texture Artist at Anima Istanbul, where I focused on painting textures and coloring storyboards.
From 2011 to 2012, I worked as a Retoucher on seasonal lookbooks at Calvin Klein. In 2014, I shifted my focus towards UX and Product design, completed Baymard's UX degree program and gained certification as a Baymard UX Professional in 2018.
